Prospective new members are welcome to join us on a couple of walks on a sort of 'try before you buy' basis. Please refer to the walks page for details of our forthcoming walks and contact a member of the group for further details. 

Whilst we do not have a limit on group numbers we do enjoy the companionship and relaxed atmosphere that a small group brings. For this reason we encourage all of our members to organise events on a regular basis - thus keeping down the average number attending any individual event.

Membership of the group costs £5 per person, is payable by your fourth walk, and covers your first 12 months with the group. Beyond this membership is 'free' provided that you organise one event for the group in every six months of your continuing membership. Alternatively a further £5 will be payable on each anniversary of your joining the group. Essentially this means that lifetime membership (either yours or the groups - whichever comes first !) need only cost you £5.
